Bus passengers are being asked to contact police with any information they have after a driver was racially abused.
It happened on a bus travelling between Loughborough and Leicester, between 10.30am and 11am on Saturday 18 June.
In the afternoon – between 2.35pm and 3pm – the driver came into contact with the same man again, St Margaret’s bus station. The man kicked the driver in the leg while they were both in the toilets before walking off.
PC Tom Page-Brown, the investigating officer, said: “There were passengers on the bus who will have seen what happened – and I would like to speak to those people.
“Please cast your mind back. Were you travelling on that service between Loughborough and Leicester. Did you see what happened? Did you hear what was said?
“Any information you have could help with my investigation.”
