A man has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent following an incident in the New Parks area earlier this year.
Nathan Bloor, 26, of Styon Road, Leicester, has also been charged with possession of an offensive weapon in relation to the incident after a man was found with stab wound injuries in New Parks Way on Sunday 5 January.
The victim, who is in his 20s, was taken to hospital for treatment before later being discharged.
Bloor is also charged with two counts of possession of class A drugs with intent to supply in relation to a separate incident.
He has been remanded into custody and is due to appear before Leicester Magistrates Court today (Thursday)
