An investigation is ongoing after two teenage boys were found to have suffered stab wound injuries following an incident in Leicester this evening (Wednesday).
Police were called to Oxon Way at 5.54pm today following reports that a person had been stabbed.
On arrival, officers found two teenage boys had suffered from stab wound injuries.
Both boys have been taken to hospital. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
A full investigation is ongoing into the incident to establish the full circumstances and officers are currently in the area carrying out enquiries.
Detective Inspector Jim Hatton said: “Officers currently remain at the scene carrying out full enquiries into this incident including speaking with the victims, checking CCTV and speaking with people in the area.
“Both boys have been taken to hospital. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
“We are appealing to anyone who was in the area of Oxon Way this evening, and who has any information in relation to the incident which they believe could assist our enquiry, to make contact with us.
“Please think back to anything which you may have seen or heard which caused you concern or which you believe could help our investigation. If you have any CCTV or dashcam footage from the area, we also urge you to check this and make contact with us.”
