Appeal after teenagers threatened in Glenfield

Officers are information after a report of a group of teenagers being threatened in Glenfield.
The incident is reported to have happened sometime between 3.30pm and 3.45pm on Thursday 12 November on the A50 Leicester Road bridge.
It involved three teenagers who were walking along the bridge when a man rode past them and verbally threatened them.
The man, who is described as white aged between 30 and 40 years with ginger hair, was riding a green electric powered bike and was travelling city bound in the direction of Glenfield hospital.
PC Julie Watkins, the investigating officer, said: “The children were not physically harmed but left understandably shaken by the incident.
“We have spoken to the children involved and would be keen to speak to this man to establish the full circumstances around what happened and the events leading up to it so I would urge him to get in touch.
“Alternatively, I would like to speak to anyone who may have seen what happened or who knows this man. Anyone with information is urged to get in touch with us.”
