A man has been charged with a number of offences including burglary, attempted grievous bodily harm with intent of a police officer and dangerous driving.
Thomas Brackenbridge, 38, of Fairfield Street, Wigston, is charged with burglary at a store in St Mary’s Place, Market Harborough, on 6 February this year.
He is also charged with attempted burglary at a store in High Street, Husbands Bosworth, dangerous driving in Bells Lane, Husband Bosworth, and attempted grievous bodily harm of a police officer on 7 February this year.
The officer suffered minor injuries and did not require hospital treatment
Brackenbridge has been released on bail and is due to appear at Leicester Magistrates Court on 21 January 2021.
