Basset Hounds stolen from South Kilworth found

Five Basset Hounds stolen from kennels in South Kilworth earlier this year have been found.
On Saturday (3 April) and Easter Monday (5 April) information was received that four of the dogs were at two separate locations in the Greater Manchester area.
Officers from Leicestershire Police spoke to colleagues from Greater Manchester Police and the dogs were located.
The fifth dog was found in the Greater Manchester area last night (Wednesday 8 April).
Three people – two women and a man – were arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods by officers from Greater Manchester Police. They have all been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
The dogs were stolen sometime between 5pm on Wednesday 17 February and 7.30am on Thursday 18 February.
Sergeant Paul Archer, from the Harborough and Wigston Neighbourhood Policing Area (NPA), said: “I am pleased that the dogs have been found.
“I would like to thank both the public for their assistance in locating the dogs and colleagues from Greater Manchester Police for recovering them.”
