Officers searching for a dog that was stolen from kennels in Station Road, North Kilworth have found him safe and well.
Logan, a three-year-old cockapoo, was stolen between midnight and 6.30am on Friday 12 February after entry was forced into the kennels via a neighbouring farm.
Officers liaised with volunteers from Beauty’s Legacy, a group who look for stolen and missing animals.
A report was received at midday on Tuesday 16 February that Logan had been seen in a field near Coalville.
A large group of volunteers searched the area and a drone was used.
Logan was found on waste ground on the outskirts of Heather.
He was reported to be terrified, dirty and wet but is now safely back with his owner.
Officers would like to thank the public for their help in finding Logan.
