Officers are appealing to speak to the man pictured following an incident in Belgrave Gate, Leicester, last week in which a man suffered a slash wound injury to his hand.
Officers were called to the area at 7.19pm last Thursday (1 July) where it was reported that a number of men had been involved in a fight in a car park.
One of the men was reported to be in possession of a large knife and another male had received a slash wound injury to his hand in the incident. He attended hospital for treatment and was later discharged
No other injuries were reported. No-one has been arrested in connection with the incident at this stage and enquiries remain ongoing.
Officers believe the man pictured can assist with the ongoing investigation and are appealing to him or anyone who recognises him to make contact.
Anyone who has any information in relation to the incident, and who has not yet spoken to police, should also make contact.
