Appeal to trace stolen e-bike
Main article content
Officers investigating the theft of an e-bike are appealing for public help to find it.
The bicycle – an Electric Black Watt Boston bike – was taken from the garage of an address in Bickley Avenue, Melton overnight between Friday 9 July and Saturday 10 July.
Although the bicycle is in an old-fashioned design, it is modern.
PC Hannah Matts, the investigating officer, said: “I’d like to speak to anyone who has seen the e-bike for sale – or who has been offered the opportunity to buy an e-bike like the one pictured – to come forward.
“I would also like to speak to anyone who saw or heard anything unusual or suspicious in the area of Bickley Avenue between 9 and 10 July.”
“Any information you have, no matter how insignificant you think it may be, could help my investigation.”
