A man has been charged after another man was left with slash wound injuries following an incident in Aberdale Road, Leicester.
Warwick Smyth, 32, of Pendlebury Drive, Leicester, has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and with possession of a knife following the incident on Wednesday 9 June.
The victim of the offence attended hospital for treatment following the incident and has since been discharged.
Smyth has been remanded into custody to appear at Leicester Magistrates Court today (Friday).
