Officers are appealing for information after a racially-aggravated assault in Ibstock.
Around 12.30pm on Tuesday 15 June it was reported that a man was driving an older-model Peugeot 308 along Station Road when he passed a male delivery driver, made a racially-aggravated comment and spat at him.
The man then drove away from the scene.
PC Justin Taylor said: “This was a distressing incident for the delivery driver and we are keen to hear from anyone with any information about this incident.
“It happened in the middle of the day when many people are likely to have been out and about.
“Anyone who was in the area of Station Road at the time, saw a blue Peugeot 308 or captured it on dash cam, please get in touch.”
Anyone with any information is asked to call 101 quoting reference 21*332006.
