Officers are appealing for information after an attempted robbery of a 15-year-old boy was reported in Leicester.
Around 8.45am on Monday 17 May it was reported that the boy was approached by three teenage boys in Flower Park, which runs between St Saviours Road and Gwendolen Road.
The boys assaulted him and demanded property from him.
Another male witnessed the incident and approached the group who then left towards St Saviours Road.
All three of the teenage boys are described as mixed race, around 16-17 year-old, of medium build and wearing black face coverings with a white marking on it.
One of them is described as around 5’11, wearing blue jeans and a black coat with the hood up.
Another is described as around 6’3, wearing a black Nike tracksuit with a white Nike tick across the chest.
The third boy is described as around 5’9, wearing a black coat with black jeans and white Nike Airforce trainers.
Detective Constable Hussain Hodgkinson said: “We are eager to speak to the person who witnessed the incident and urge him to please contact us.
“We would also like to hear from anyone else who saw the incident or the group of boys.”
