Two people, who were found deceased in a property in Desford, have been named by police.
Police attended an address in Leicester Lane, at about 10am on Thursday 28 October, after neighbours became concerned for the occupants’ welfare.
Officers attended and found the bodies of two people – 69-year-old Ian Dent and his 79-year-old wife Ruth - inside.
A post-mortem examination carried out confirmed that both had died from knife-related injuries.
An investigation is continuing.
Detective Inspector Nicole Main from the force’s major crime team said: “Our investigation continues to investigate the full circumstances surrounding of the deaths and the events leading up to the bodies being discovered.
“Following the conclusion of the post-mortem examinations and enquiries carried out so far, we can confirm that we are not looking for anyone else in connection with the investigation and there is no wider risk identified to the public.
“The family continue to be supported by specially trained family liaison officers at this distressing time as our enquiries remain ongoing.”
