Officers are appealing for the public’s help to locate a number of power tools stolen from a property in Coalville.
The items were taken from the adjoining garage in Botts Way sometime between Monday 25 October and Monday 1 November.
Among the items taken were a Makita drill, a red Milwakee impact wrench, a turquoise Makita angle grinder, a soldering iron station, welding mask and welding rods, a Halfords socket set, a sheet metal cutter and a flex shaft grinder.
A black and red X-Lite motorcycle helmet was also taken.
Officers have released images of the wrench and angle grinder in the hope that someone may recognise the items if they are attempted to be sold on.
PC Tara Tomson, from Coalville’s Neighbourhood Patrol and Resolutions Team, said: “The owner noticed the tools had been stolen when he went in to the garage on the evening of 1 November.
“The person responsible for the burglary may attempt to sell the tools on so I would urge anyone who has been approached or has seen tools matching these for sale to contact police.
“I would also ask anyone to come forward if they have any information relating to the incident that could help us with our enquiries.”
Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting incident 21*636260.
