Appeal following report of non-stop collision

Officers are appealing for witnesses following a report of a non-stop collision at the junction of Wakerley Road and Tavistock Drive, Leicester on Thursday evening (30 September)
Police received a call at 9.18pm reporting that a female pedestrian had been involved in a collision with a car in the area.
The car was reported to have left the scene.
East Midlands Ambulance Service were in attendance and the woman, who is in her 60s, was taken to hospital. Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
Enquiries are continuing to establish the full circumstances of the incident. It is believed a number of people were in the area at the time and officers are appealing to anyone who has any information and who has not yet spoken to police to make contact.
Police Sergeant Jayme Cooper said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who has any information to make contact with us.
“We understand there may have been some people in the area at the time who have not yet spoken with us. Please think back to if you were in the area and anything you may have seen or heard. If you have any information and have not yet spoken with us then please make contact.
“Anyone with any CCTV or dashcam footage from the area at the time is also urged to check this and make contact with us.”
