Investigation continuing following incident in Beaumont Leys Lane, Leicester

An investigation is continuing following an incident in Beaumont Leys Lane, Leicester, last month.
Police received a call at 7.20pm on Thursday 21 October reporting that a woman had been stopped in her car by two people who then attacked her and dragged her out of the car. One of the suspects was reported to have attempted to drive the car before stealing a bag from the car and running away from the scene. He remains outstanding at this time.
The woman suffered injuries in the incident. Her injuries were not believed to be serious and she did not require hospital treatment.
Around the same time, the second suspect – a 16-year-old boy - was reported to have been approached by a member of the public, leading to a fight. The suspect suffered serious injuries in the incident and was taken to hospital. He has since been discharged. The 16-year-old boy, of Leicester, was arrested on suspicion of robbery. He has since been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
