Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed a collision in Leicester city centre last month – but has not yet spoken to police – to come forward.
The collision, which involved a silver Volkswagen Transporter and a pedestrian, occurred at the junction of Oxford Street and Newarke Street between midnight and 12.15am on Sunday 26 September.
The pedestrian, a man in his 50s, was taken to hospital to be treated and was later discharged.
PC Shaun Gent, the investigating officer, said: “Please cast your mind back. Were you in Leicester city centre that night and did you see what happened? What can you remember? Any information you have could help.”
