Officers investigating a public order incident in which a car was damaged are appealing for motorists with dashcam footage to come forward.
At around 7.35pm on Saturday 4 September a silver Peugeot 206 was stopped at the junction of Thurmaston Lane and Victoria Road East in Leicester when the driver of a white Nissan Juke – a man – got out of the car and punched the window of the Peugeot.
PC Liam Moore, the investigating officer, said: “We know that one witness stopped at the scene and stated they had dashcam footage of the incident. I would like that person to come forward as they may be able to assist the investigation.
“I would also like to speak to any other motorists who were in the area at the time and saw or recorded what happened. If you can help, please get in touch.”
A 38-year-old man from Leicester was later arrested in connection with the incident but released with no further action.
