The 18-year-old man who died as a result of a stabbing in Melbourne Street, Leicester, has been named by police.
Abdirahim Mohamed died in the early hours of Thursday morning (9 September) following the incident late the previous evening. Officers were called at 11.45pm to a report of a severely injured man.
His family have paid tribute to him, saying in a statement: “We are overwhelmed by the events of the last few days and cannot believe Abdirahim is gone.
“We’d like to be left alone at this time and ask for some privacy to grieve.”
