Wanted appeal to feature on BBC Crimewatch Live

Detectives are appealing for information about the whereabouts of a man wanted in connection with a serious assault in Leicester in 2019.
Yahaye Ashker is wanted by police in connection with a serious assault on two men in a business premises in July 2019.
The victims were attacked with a bladed weapon and sustained stab wounds. They each received hospital treatment for their injuries.
Officers suspect that 25-year-old Ashker carried out the assault and have been carrying out a number of enquiries since to locate him.
As part of the BBC’s Crimewatch Live series, they will be featuring Ashker’s face (pictured) in the hope to generate information about his current whereabouts.
Detective Constable Berni Rowlson, who investigated the incident, said: “As part of our investigation, we identified Ashker as the person we believe responsible for this assault and despite extensive enquiries completed so far we have been unable to locate him and question him about this incident.
“We are very grateful to Crimewatch by helping us further share this image and I am hoping that anyone who may recognise him or know of his current whereabouts will get in contact with us.
“Two young men sustained serious injuries and were extremely lucky to have not been more seriously injured so it’s important if you have any information about this man please get in touch.”
