Man seriously injured following collision in Coleman Road, Leicester

A man remains in hospital with serious injuries following a collision in Coleman Road, Leicester, yesterday afternoon (Wednesday).
Police were called at 12.26pm to the incident which happened near the junction with Haynes Road and involved three cars – a red Kia Ceed, a black Honda Civic and a grey Range Rover.
The driver of the Kia, a man in his 90s, was taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham, by ambulance following the collision where he currently remains in a serious condition.
No other serious injuries have been reported.
Police Constable Adam Wilson said: “We are carrying out enquiries to understand the full circumstances of the collision. We are appealing to anyone who was in the area and who witnessed the incident, or saw any of the vehicles beforehand, to make contact with us if you have not already done so.
“If you have any dashcam footage or CCTV from the area yesterday afternoon, please also get in touch.”
