Two men have appeared in court charged with assault.
Kian Moore, 21 of Chettle Road, Leicester and Joel Lanycia, 18, of Littlegarth, Leicester have been charged with Section 18 – wounding with intent.
Moore has also been charged with possessing a knife blade/sharp pointed article in a public place.
Both have been remanded in custody to appear at Leicester Magistrates’ Court today (Thursday 25 August).
The charges relate to an incident in the early hours of Sunday 14 August whereby a 20-year-old man was seriously assaulted in Guildhall Lane, Leicester.
