Officers are continuing to investigate a report of a fight in Upperton Road – and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
Shortly after 11.15pm on Friday 11 November, a report was received that a group of six or seven males were fighting near Westcotes Park. It was reported that the group then left the area in a car.
Officers were deployed and following further enquiries, the car was stopped near the Meridian Leisure Park.
A 30-year-old man and three 16-year-old boys were arrested in connection with the incident. The man was later released with no further action, while the boys were released on bail.
PC Kyle Armstrong, the investigating officer, said: “Our enquiries into this incident are continuing and while two people were arrested, I’m still keen to speak to anyone with information.
“Please cast your mind back to that Friday evening. Were you driving or walking along Upperton Road? What did you see?
“Any details you’re able to provide could help.”
