Police investigating a robbery in the Belgrave area of Leicester last month have arrested a man.
The incident happened at around 6.30pm on Monday 7 November.
Two men stole a number of pairs of designer trainers from an address in Tiverton Avenue before leaving the scene at speed in what was believed to be a dark coloured Volkswagen Polo with a 2012 registration plate.
It was reported the vehicle turned left onto Gipsy Lane and headed towards Catherine Street and in its haste to escape collided with two vehicles, causing minor damage to both. It was also seen swerving in and out of traffic.
Following an appeal for information, a 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of robbery and been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
