An appeal is being made for witnesses to come forward after a man was attacked on Devana Road, Leicester.
The incident happened between 2.50pm and 3.05pm on Thursday 10 March.
The victim – a man in his 20s – was approached by two men, who began punching and kicking him before leaving the area. The victim did not suffer serious injuries.
PC Pushpa Keshvala, the investigating officer, said: “From enquiries carried out to date, I know there were people in Devana Road who were walking past when this incident happened.
“I would like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time, as I believe they may have information that could help.
“What do you remember? What can you tell me? Anything you’re able to provide could assist my investigation.”
