Police are looking to trace a bike after it was stolen from a home in the Belgrave area of Leicester.
Sometime overnight on Tuesday 7 June into Wednesday 8 June, a black Carrera Vulcan mountain bike was stolen from a house in Penrith Road.
It is believed entry was gained at the side of the property and the bike was taken from the conservatory. Nothing else was stolen during the incident.
Officers have released an image of the bike in the hope someone may recognise it and come forward with information.
Detective Constable Rachel Tidmarsh is investigating the incident. She said: “I’m hoping someone may have seen the bike for sale or have further information that can assist with our enquiries.
“The bike has been well used so does have scratches on the sides of the pedals, dents marks on the top of the frame and the logo on the frame is coming away slightly.
“When stolen the bike also had Kenda tyres on – the rear tyre was worn much more than the front, there was also a plastic guard on the rear wheel and a bike lock holder attached to the frame.
“If anyone recognises the bike or have any information about the burglary at the address in Penrith Road, please contact police.”
