Seven people arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs following a number of warrants being executed in the Loughborough and Anstey areas have been released on bail.
Officers attended eight addresses yesterday (Friday 29 July) as part of the warrants which led to the arrests of five men and two women.
The addresses attended were at Baxter Gate, King Street, Sparrow Hill, Toothill Road, Barnsdale Close, Russell Street and Waterside Close, all of which are in Loughborough, and Dimmingsdale Close in Anstey.
The seven people arrested during the warrants were five men aged 20,22, 25, 26 and 29 and two women aged 18 and 27. They have all since been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
Suspected drugs and cash, among other items, were also recovered during the searches.
A full investigation remains ongoing.
