Two people arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a stabbing in Upperton Road, Leicester have been released on bail.
Shortly before 1am on Tuesday 26 July, police were called to a report of a disturbance inside an address.
Officers attended and found a man in his 20s with stab wound injuries. He was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition. No one else was present at the scene.
Since the incident occurred, officers have been carrying out a number of enquiries and yesterday (Thursday 28 July) a 27-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. They have since been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
