Detectives are appealing for public help to locate 32-year-old Sakab Malik who has failed to appear at court – with a £5,000 Crimestoppers reward on offer.
Malik, of Rotherham, was charged following a Leicestershire police investigation, with conspiracy to supply cocaine. He was due to appear at Leicester Crown Court for trial in August 2021 but failed to attend.
This led to a warrant being issued for Malik’s arrest.
A number of extensive enquiries have been carried out since to locate Malik. Detectives are now appealing publicly for information in relation to Malik’s whereabouts and a £5,000 reward has been offered by the independent charity Crimestoppers to encourage anyone with any information to make contact.
The £5,000 reward is for information which leads to Malik’s arrest. Only information given to Crimestoppers will be eligible for the reward. The reward offer is in place from 29 June 2022 until 29 September 2022.
