Detectives are appealing for people to come forward after a teenager was seriously injured in a collision involving an e-scooter.
It happened in New Parks, at the junction of Aikman Avenue and St Oswald’s Road, at 12.25pm on Wednesday (23 March).
The collision involved a black Citroen Catcus and an e-scooter, being ridden by a 17-year-old boy.
The East Midlands Ambulance Service was also in attendance and the teenager was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition. The driver of the car was not injured.
Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone who was driving in the area at the time and may have dashcam footage to come forward.
