A ninth man has been arrested following an incident in which a man was stabbed at a party in Leicester.
Police were called at 11.38pm on Thursday 20 January to a report of a stabbing at an address in Nixon Court, Putney Road.
A man, in his twenties, sustained a single stab wound and was taken to hospital for treatment. He has since been discharged.
Yesterday (Wednesday 2 March) a 20-year-old man was arrested in the Greater London area on suspicion of attempted murder. He has since been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
As part of the investigation, eight men aged between 18 and 23 have previously been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and a 20-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of attempting to pervert the course of justice. They have all since been released on police bail.
Our enquiries remain very much ongoing as the investigation continues and anyone who may have any information about the incident and has not spoken to us is still urged to contact the police.
