A 28-year-old man from Leicester was later arrested on suspicion of affray and was released on bail.
PC Taylor, the investigating officer, said: “I’d like to speak to the two men who witnessed this incident as they may have information that could help my investigation.
“I’d like to assure them they’re not in any trouble, but could assist enquiries. If you were one of those people, please get in touch.”
