Officers are trying to trace three people who are believed to have been assaulted at a Narborough pub.
The incidents are reported to happened at 4pm and shortly after 7pm on Saturday 25 March at the public house in Coventry Road.
It was reported a woman was speaking to a man outside at the rear of the pub when another man approached them and punched the man to the face.
The suspect left the pub after being ordered to leave and it was believed the woman and victim also left.
Shortly after 7pm, the suspect was back at the pub and is reported to have assaulted the woman who was also back at the location. He is reported to have spat at her, kicked towards her and grabbed her by the arm and hair.
While she was being comforted by two unknown men inside the pub moments later, the suspect approached the group and lunged at the two men appearing to punch them.
The suspect was restrained on the floor by members of the public and bar staff but manages to break free and leave the premises.
PC Emily Raw, who is investigating the incident, is appealing for these three men to come forward.
She said: “A number of enquiries have been carried out since this incident was reported to police to fully establish the circumstances.
“We haven’t as yet identified the three men who we believed were punched by the suspect and I would like to appeal to them to come forward.
“If they or anyone who else who may have witnessed what happened has any information, I would like to speak to them.”
