Officers are appealing for witnesses after a man was left seriously injured following a collision in Leicester.
The incident was reported to police at 1.21am this morning (Wednesday 13 December) on Guildford Road near to the junction with A6 London Road.
It was reported that the rider of an electric scooter was in collision with a black car which failed to stop at the scene.
The rider of the scooter, who was travelling county bound towards Oadby, sustained serious leg injuries and remains in hospital.
We would like to speak to anyone who may have been in the area between 1am and 1.20am and saw either the rider or a black Mercedes C220 car.
