Detectives are appealing for information after a man was found with serious injuries in Rowlatts Hill.
At around 4.30pm on Wednesday 1 February a man in his 40s left his home address. At around 6pm, he was found in bed by a family member with significant injuries. The man was taken to hospital for treatment, where it was found he had suffered a bleed on the brain.
Enquiries were carried out to establish how the man came to sustain his injuries. Officers know that the man was with two other men in the areas of Hurst Rise, Lily Marriott Gardens and Coleman Road during the period he was away from home.
Detective Sergeant Raj Pahal, from East Leicester CID, said: “Unfortunately the man who was injured cannot remember what happened and we are working to establish whether he was the victim of a crime.
“I’d like to speak to anyone who was in the area of Hurst Rise, Lily Marriott Gardens and Coleman Road last week and saw three men together. Did you notice anything unusual, untoward or suspicious? Did you see anything that caught your attention?
“Any details you’re able to provide could help.”
