A 34-year-old man has this morning (Tuesday 14 February) been arrested following an incident in Whissendine on Saturday (11 February).
Shortly after 1.45pm, police received a report that a horse had collided with a woman in a field in Station Road. She did not suffer any serious injuries during the incident.
The man, from Rutland, was arrested on suspicion of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm. He has since been released on bail.
Detective Inspector Charles Edwards said: “Our investigation into this incident is continuing. We are aware of footage posted online and would urge caution about sharing such content while enquiries are ongoing.”
