Officers are appealing for witnesses after a serious road traffic collision in Atherstone village.
The collision happened on the B4116 Atherstone Road between Atherstone and Pinwall village at around 11.20pm on Friday 27 January.
The driver and passenger in a black Ford Fiesta sustained serious injuries and both men remain in hospital receiving treatment.
PC Adam Sparrow, the investigating officer, said: “We believe that the vehicle was travelling towards Pinwall at the time of the collision.
“I am appealing for anyone who may initially stopped at the scene of the collision and left before police arrived as well as anyone who saw the vehicle beforehand or the collision itself.”
