Kieron Moore’s family have today (Friday 3 February) released the following statement:
“Our world came crashing down on 12 November 2021.
“When you receive a text message to say your son is dead, it’s difficult to put into words how you feel. Kieron died just a stone’s throw from our home. Seeing him lying in the street – with paramedics trying to save him – is something no parent should ever have to see.
“It’s been difficult trying to explain to Kieron’s young nephews and nieces that he isn’t coming back. He was such a constant presence in their lives. We’re still struggling to come to terms with our loss.

“He always wanted a 21st birthday party and last May we held a celebration in his memory so we could fulfil his wish. He had his whole life ahead of him. We’ll never get to see him get married or have children. Since his death, a new niece has arrived who will never get to meet her uncle.
“We know Kieron had once gone down the wrong path, but he was a polite, loving, caring guy who had settled down. He was working and got his own little place. He was doing well for himself.
“No sentence will ever reflect the pain and heartache inflicted upon us. While we’ll never come to terms with losing Kieron, he’ll forever be in our broken hearts and his memories will live on.”
