Officers are appealing for witnesses following an attempted robbery at a Leicester park.
At around 2.30pm on Sunday 19 March, two teenage boys were approached by a group by two youths and two girls while they were next to the bike track at The Rally park in Forest Way.
The two youths, who were both wearing balaclavas, demanded one of the boy’s bike from him threatening to assault him.
The boy refused and managed to ride off without anything being stolen.
Two boys, aged 12 and 15, and a 15-year-old girl have been arrested on suspicion of attempted robbery. They have since been released on bail pending further enquiries.
PC Rhiannon Gee is appealing for witnesses to the incident.
She said: “This incident happened in the middle of the day at a park which is often busy with visitors.
“I would be keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or saw the events leading up it.
“If you have any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, please get in touch.”
