Police are appealing for information following an attempted robbery in Leicester.
At around 11.50pm on Saturday 13 May, a man was walking his dog along Great Central Way near to Wolverton Road when he approached by three men, one of which was riding a bike.
One of the men grabbed him and he struck at him to break free.
The victim’s dog bit one of the men out of fear and the men made off empty handed.
Enquiries are continuing into the incident and officers would like to appeal to anyone who has any information to please get in touch.
