Family of Dumitru-Nicolae Cherascu pay tribute

The family of Dumitru-Nicolae Cherascu have today paid tribute to him describing how they “cry for him all the time” and “miss him every day”.

The wife of Mr Cherascu said:

“I`d never been happier in my life than when I was with Nicu. I miss him every day and still cry for him all the time.

“Not one day passes without us thinking or talking about him. He was my protector, he was so strong, I never thought anything like this would happen to him. They took my soul away; they took who I loved away from me. I`ll never be the same again.”

Mr Cherascu’s nephew has also paid tribute.

He said:“He was a father, brother, uncle and husband and he will be missed by each and every one of us. All he wanted in life was to be loved, cared for and to have a family. He was, is and will be loved forever.”
