A further appeal is being made for witnesses and dashcam footage following an incident in Brazil Street, Leicester on Monday (13 November).
Police were called to the area, close to the junction with New Bridge Street, shortly before 10pm following a report that a man had been attacked. The man, who is in his 20s, was taken to hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening or life-changing.
Officers believe that a number of people were involved in the incident.
Detective Inspector Mike Chandler, from the Complex Investigation Team (CIT), said: “Since the incident occurred, a number of people have come forward with information. We have been told there were a number of people involved in the incident and I believe there are still people who might be able to help but have not yet contacted police.
“As well as eyewitnesses, I’m particularly keen to speak to motorists with dashcams that might’ve captured what happened. Anything you can tell is could be of use.”
