Officers are appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed in the city centre yesterday evening (Monday 23 October).
A report was received around 8.35pm after a 44-year-old man was found with a stab wound to his neck in the Haymarket Bus Station in Belgrave Gate.
He was taken to hospital and treated for an injury not believed to be life threatening or life changing.
A 23-year-old man also sustained minor injuries during the incident.
The scene was cordoned off yesterday evening but that has since been lifted.
A 43-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of Grievous Bodily Harm. He has been released on police bail while officers continue to investigate.
Anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident is asked to get in touch if they witnessed the incident or captured any part of it on their mobile phones.
