Police received a call at 6.11pm yesterday (28 September) regarding a road traffic collision in Enderby Road, Whetstone.
It was reported that a six-year-old child pushing a bike had been involved in a collision near to Jubilee Park with a black Mercedes A class travelling towards Whetstone.
The child sustained injuries, which were not believed to be life threatening, and was taken to hospital. The driver was not injured.
The road was closed in both directions while emergency services responded at the scene and was later reopened.
Enquiries are continuing into the collision and officers are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or saw the events leading up to it to please get in touch.
