Detectives are appealing for anyone with information to come forward after a man was injured during a fight at The Red Cow in Leicester Forest East.
Police were called to the premises in Hinckley Road, at around 11pm on Saturday (30 September). On arrival, a man in his 20s was found to have suffered puncture wounds to his body and injuries to his head. He was taken to hospital for treatment.
Two men aged 32 and 31 were arrested in connection with the incident but have since been released on bail.
Detective Constable Stacey Green, the investigating officer, said: “This incident moved outside of the pub and from enquiries carried out so far, I know there’ll have been people driving or walking along Hinckley Road who may have seen what was happening.”
“I’m particularly keen to speak to motorists with dashcams and eyewitnesses. Any footage or information you’re able to provide could help.”
