A man wanted by police for breaching his court bail has been arrested.
Tadiwanashe Dzikiti was charged on Saturday 2 September with one count of sexual assault of a child and three counts of sexual communication with a child following an incident that occurred in Cort Crescent, Leicester.
After appearing at Leicester Magistrates’ Court on Monday 4 September, he was released on court bail with a number of conditions.
It was understood Dzikiti, 21, had breached his bail conditions and was therefore wanted for the offence.
Dzikiti was also wanted after failing to appear at West Cheshire Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 5 September in relation to drug offences.
After a number of enquiries have been carried out to try and find Dzikiti were unsuccessful, police issued a public appeal on Monday 11 September asking for help.
Dzikiti was arrested in the South Wales area yesterday (21 September) and remains in police custody.
We would like to thank the public who came forward and contacted us with information.
