Second arrest following firearms discharge in Mulberry Avenue - woman bailed

Officers have made a second arrest following a report of a shooting in Mulberry Avenue, Leicester, on Saturday (3 February).
Police were called just after 11pm to a report of the discharge of a firearm into a stationary car in the street.
The man in the car, who is in his 30s, sustained a minor injury as a result of the incident.
Detectives are continuing to investigate the incident and on Wednesday 7 January, a 30-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. She has since been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
A 48-year-old man arrested on Sunday (5 February) has been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
Detective Inspector Michael Chandler, from the Complex Investigation Team, said: “A team of detectives continue to investigate this incident and are working to establish the full circumstances.
“We continue to urge people to come forward if they have any information that could assist us and encourage residents in the area to speak to local officers if they have any concerns.”
