Eighth arrest made following shooting in Evington Road, Leicester

An eighth arrest has been made following a shooting in Evington Road in November last year.
A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.
He has since been released on police bail.
Police had been called to Evington Road at 11.20pm on Wednesday 22 November last year following a report that two men had been shot as they walked along the road close to the junction with Chepstow Road, Leicester.
Both men were taken to hospital following the incident. They have since been discharged.
Four other men have previously been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in connection with the incident. A further three men have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder. The men have all been released on bail while enquiries continue.
