Three further arrests made following shooting in Evington Road, Leicester

Three further people have been arrested following a shooting in Evington Road, Leicester, in November last year.
Two men, aged 21 and 22, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder on Sunday (31 December).
A third man, aged 23, was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder on Monday (1 January).
All three men have since been released on bail while the investigation continues.
Police had been called to Evington Road at 11.20pm on Wednesday 22 November last year following a report that two men had been shot as they walked along the road close to the junction with Chepstow Road, Leicester.
Both men were taken to hospital following the incident. They have since been discharged.
Three other men have previously been arrested in connection with the incident. Two men, aged 24 and 29, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and released on police bail. A 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder and released on police bail.
Detective Inspector Hazel Sandall, from the force’s Complex Investigation Unit, said: “We have now made six arrests in relation to this incident and our extensive enquiries remain ongoing as we continue to establish the full circumstances. This includes ongoing CCTV analysis, forensics work, speaking to witnesses and making public appeals.
“Thank you to everyone who has spoken to us and who has and continues to assist us with this investigation. It is not too late for anyone who may have information and hasn’t passed this information on to get in touch. If you have any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, please do let us know.”
