A man has been charged with the wounding with intent of another man following an incident in Fosse Road North, Leicester, on Monday evening (8 July).
Costel Remus Galoi, 40, of Fosse Road North, Leicester, has also been charged with possession of an imitation firearm, namely an air pistol; possession of a knife; robbery of the victim; and two counts of assaulting an emergency worker.
Police had been called to the area at 11.29pm on Monday.
The victim was taken to hospital following the incident and later discharged.
Galoi has been remanded into custody and is due to appear at Leicester Magistrates Court today (Wednesday).
